Kenneth Tonymon, M.D., FAANS, board-certified neurosurgeon focuses on prevention, diagnosis and surgical treatment of disorders which affect the spine, spinal cord and nerves. He specializes in both surgical and non-surgical spinal care of adult patients. He focuses on caring for patients with degenerative, traumatic, neoplastic, and infectious conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Special interests include minimally invasive spinal surgery as well as spinal fusion alternatives and motion preservation procedures.

Dr. Tonymon is a highly trained and experienced specialist who uses the most effective and cutting-edge techniques in spine surgery and is dedicated to providing high-quality personalized care. He earned his medical degree and completed both general surgery and neurosurgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has been in practice for more than 30 years providing neuro spine care to thousands of Arkansans and individuals from surrounding states.

Dr. Tonymon's commitment to the delivery of excellence in patient care has been greatly influenced by the career of his physician father Daniel Tonymon, MD who practiced family medicine for decades in the heart of the rural delta of eastern Arkansas

He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. He holds membership in the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), the Southern Neurological Society (SNS), The North American Spine Society (NASS), and the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery (ISASS). Additionally, Dr. Tonymon is certified for Intracept®, a minimally invasive, FDA-approved treatment for reduction of chronic low back pain, as well as other contemporary surgical options.

Dr. Tonymon and his wife have raised four children and reside in Northwest Arkansas.
